Every project is different, so we'll always start with a conversation.
Here's a general sense of what to expect:
1) You Reach Out
Tell me a little bit about your project using the form below.
2) We Talk
I schedule a 15–30 minute discovery call to understand your goals and timeline.
3) Sample Edit
For larger projects, I'll edit 2–3 pages so we both get a taste of each other's style.
4) We Set the Scope
We'll agree on a timeline, deliverables, and a cost estimate before we start.
5) I Get to Work
Track changes, comments, and one round of revisions are included in each pass.
6) You Get Your Words Back
(sounding more like you than when you sent them)
What It Costs
I offer three levels of review.

Discovery call: $25

Proofreading
Final polish for clean, error-free text
Best for blog posts, essays, business communications, and creative work
ready for publication.
$0.02/word or $35/hr*
(minimum $50)
Copyediting
Deeper refinement for clarity and impact
Best for articles, creative nonfiction, fiction, reports, and anything that needs structural work at the sentence and paragraph level.
$0.03–0.04/word or $40–50/hr*
(minimum $50)
Developmental Editing
Big-picture feedback before the line-level work
Best for first and second drafts of long-form projects (novels, memoirs, essay collections, long-form journalism), organizational reports that need a structural rethink, and creative nonfiction at any stage.
$50/hour or project rate

Rush turnaround (within 5 business days) may be available for a +25% fee.
