Event Support

I make things run smoothly
so other people can enjoy the show.

Why Kynthia?

I've planned intimate fundraising dinners, coordinated hundreds of volunteers to support multi-day conferences for a nonprofit research organization, managed kitchens in the Nevada desert, and helped hold space for thousands of people at immersive events.

What all of it has in common: someone needs to care about the details so everyone else can be present for the experience.

That's the job. I'm good at it – and I'm never more useful than when the plan needs to change.

How It Works

Every project is different, so we'll always start with a conversation.

Here's a general sense of what to expect:

1) You Reach Out

Tell me about your event.
(size, date, what you need)

2) We Talk

I'll schedule a 30-minute discovery call to discuss vision, timeline, and budget.

3) I Send a Proposal

I'll summarize my understanding of what you're looking for and how I can help.

4) We Agree on the Details

We'll set the scope of work, timeline, and budget before we start.

5) Planning Phase

We'll have regular checkins as we develop and execute the plan.

6) Event Day

I'm there, watching everything; you're not worrying.

7) Wrap-up

What It Costs

Every event is different.
Here's what stays the same:

Initial Consulation: $50
(applied to your project if we move forward)

Event Team Support

Extra hands for existing teams

If you already have a plan or a team in place, I can fill specific gaps – volunteer coordination, vendor management, registration, food logistics, or just an extra coordinator on a complex event day.

$25–45/hr depending on role

Minimum engagement: $200

Event Planning

Coordination

From concept to execution

For organizations and individuals who want a collaborative partner from the beginning – vision development, vendor sourcing, timeline management, and on-site coordination on the day.

Best for community celebrations, nonprofit fundraisers and galas, retreats, food-centered gatherings, and events with 20–120 attendees.

Planning phase: $45/hr
Event day: $400–800 flat fee
(8–12 hours, varies by complexity)
Minimum engagement: $200

Project-based flat fees available for clearly scoped events.
